Beyonce Joins Husband Jay-Z At Warner For Major Global Publishing Deal
Not one to be shown up by her hubby, Beyonce just nabbed her own global publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music. Just one day after Jay-Z made his own announcement.

It's one thing to make your cash with albums and tours but it's a while other to lock in long term consistent money that comes whether you're working or not. Singer/songwriter Beyonce knows the deal, so she just signed her own global publishing deal with a publishing powerhouse
It’s an honor to join Warner/Chappell Music and to continue working with my friend Jon Platt,” commented Beyoncé in the Warner/Chappell announcement release. “I trust his vision and admire his professionalism, and I look forward to our partnership.”
Jay-Z signed a similar deal for himself and his Roc Nation artists to gain compensation for their writing. Billboard reports:
Beyoncé has signed a global publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music, Billboard has learned exclusively. Effective immediately, Warner/Chappell -- headed by chairman/CEO Cameron Strang -- will administer the 17-time Grammy winner’s future songwriting, including her anticipated next album.

Erica Mena Admits To "Dating" The MARRIED DJ Envy, Says "You Can't Break A Broken Home"
In the foolish news of the day, Erica Mena has revealed that the rumors of her messing around with the very married DJ Envy and she "left him alone" so she could be with Rich Dollaz. But she also tries to convince folks she did nothing wrong saying that "you can't break up a happy home."

Remember last month when Charlamagne gave his Power 105.1 Breakfast Club co-host the Donkey of the Day for his recent slacker behavior? And while they didn't go into detail about why Envy was not being his usual on-top-of-things self, Envy went on a loving rant about his marital issues and trying to become a better husband to his wife of 18 years, Gia Casey.
Folks started to speculate that Envy actually had a jumpoff...and that it was none other than "LAHH" star Erica Mena. And when Erica's on-again off-again boyfriend Rich Dollaz went on the show afterwards, things were slightly awkward.
We speculated all this may be a PR stunt to set up a new reality show story line.
Now, Erica says in an interview with entertainment site I Am Super Gorge that she will explain more in her upcoming book (sigh), but that you can't break up a happy home.
In regards to the DJ Envy thing, I know that people have been calling me a home wrecker. I'm just going to keep it real simple and say you can’t break a home that’s already broken. At the end of the day, whatever happened with him and his marriage it definitely has nothing to do with me. I believe that in time people will kind of get a better understanding. Because my book will be explaining it all and it drops in April. You guys get to get the full situation about me and DJ Envy. Like I said, you can’t break a home that’s already broken.
Seeing that Envy and Gia--who is pregnant again--are still very much together, we're not sure what "broken" means. But she goes on to say that she left Envy alone to be with Rich, and now Envy is acting like a "happily married man." Apparently, not acting happy in a marriage gives everyone permission to cheat. Erica said:
I left that situation alone because I wanted to be with Rich. He's been married for 18 years. He never once acted married until recently until I guess he found out that I was engaged. He definitely wasn't a proud married man for a very long time. And I guess after finding out that me and Rich were supposedly engaged he's playing this role that he was a happily married man. I don't have to pretend, he does.
And about whether she's actually pregnant, Erica says she wants to "leave people in suspense." Um....

SPEAK ON IT: Rihanna Labeled The "New Princess Diana" By "The Sunday Times"
The Sunday Times newspaper over in the UK has deemed Rihanna as the next Princess Diana. For a few reasons. Check out their article inside, and speak on it....
Inside yesterday's edition of The Sunday Times, they did a feature on their next Princess Di. And apparently, they believe the parallels between pop diva Rihanna and the people's Princess are spot on.
The publication 'shopped a pic of Rihanna and Princess Di's face together for the cover, and offered up why this comparison can be a good and a bad thing.
In an excerpt, they explain the love of paparazzi stemming from anguish:
Like Diana, Rihanna has worryingly drifted into using photo ops to send messages of allure, defiance, or revenge in a turbulent relationship with an errant partner.....Diana’s anguished helplessness and isolation inside the royal family, with its stoical code of duty, led her to gravitate toward the ever-hovering paparazzi, whose global power as a media institution increased exponentially because of her popularity…
And their similar beginnings:
Diana and Rihanna began as sensitive, wounded, but appealingly bubbly and good-natured provincial girls who slowly discovered their own photogenic virtuosity and began to conceptualize themselves as living sculpture for the lens. Alicia Keys Talks Married Life With Swizz & Baby Egypt Kissing Blue Ivy On "The Wendy Show"
The curvy Mrs. Keys-Beatz made her way to "The Wendy Show" and her interview and TV performance aired today. Check out Alicia dishing on her marriage to Swizz Beatz and the life of her baby boy Egypt inside....
Alicia Keys did a pre-taped appearance on "The Wendy Show" this morning. And it's too bad because we would have loved to hear a question about that All-Star halftime show from last night.
But Alicia and Wendy chopped it up about marriage, the ways Alicia is a real mom like everyone else, and and Egypt's love for the piano.
Alicia says she's pretty sure she wants more children at some point, and her favorite gift that she’s received from her husband, Swizz Beatz, is the tattoo he got of her face on his arm. Ouch!
When Wendy asked her--sneakily we may add--exactly how she and Swizz got together and how long they dated before marriage, Alicia avoided the question by talking about why she fell in love with her husband. But she did reveal they first met way back when they were 16 and 17-years old.
As for baby Egypt, he's walking everywhere now and loves to play the piano with mommy. Alicia revealed she indeed puts him in a car seat--with her driving the car--sometimes. And yes, they make everyday stops like Home Depot and she brings her son to the studio all the time. And she even dished on how she, Swizzy and Egypt go over to The Carters' house in Tribeca for some QT. And Egypt got in trouble for giving baby Blue Ivy a kiss. Sweet!
